Fall
For Maeleigh's first Halloween she was a candy corn. Auntie Ami Andes made her cute lil costume:)
The weather has been so beautiful this fall! It really doesn't feel like fall...I don't think I have even worn a sweater yet, but that give us a chance to actually get outside! We walked down to the lake by our house to feed the ducks one day. For some reason the ducks wouldn't come near us and a bunch of huge catfish came and ate all our bread! Heres a vid of the fish they were pretty big, we have plans on fishing there now!
Jor and Mae
One night we went to this Night of Lights thing in Gilbert which was actually quite lame...there was like no lights! The only cool thing was this big hot air balloon. Some day Jordan WILL take me on one!
Thanksgiving this year was in Flagstaff at Sarah's and Steve's house and everyone came except Joe and Kami. I was a little worried how Maeleigh would do with all the craziness and noise but she was just perfect the whole time. I vote we have Thanksgiving at their place every year!! May I add how hott mom looked!
The girls took some pretty epic pics or should I say cheesy...
Need I go on...
Jor is quite proud of it!
Don't let this cute face fool you! Maeleigh hates tummy time! If I prop her up on a pillow she seems not to mind it as much. But we are getting some success with the pillow propping. Even on the pillow she just lays there and sucks her hands or cries but for the first time yesterday she rolled right off it! And she did it again and again annnnd then started screaming lol but it is progress! I was so proud:)

Baby Maeleigh
So I guess I better post about my little girl:) I would go into detail about my labor and delivery but it didnt end up being the beautiful birth story I was hoping for. Beautiful outcome! No doubt about that! So long story short, I went into labor early in the morning on 9/11. After a couple hours I went to the hospital and I was dilated at a 6. My labor was progressing really quickly buuut due to some complications I ended up needing a c section:( boo wasnt happy about that! But the most important thing is that Maeleigh is a healthy girl. It is frustrating for me to have a c section tho. I did all this preparing and planning to have a natural birth and I kind of feel like that was takin away from me and my preparing was for no reason now. Soo obviously Im a little disappointed in that area but I did get the best little girl! She is a sweetheart! She has a very calm personality and not very fussy at all. We got it easy! She started smiling at us at like 3 and a half weeks old! Most of you probably dont think thats very exciting but we couldnt be more proud!! haha its funny how everything they do makes you so excited and proud. All the pictures on our camera of her smiling whited out her face or ended up all blerry (our super crappy camera! grrr!) We seriously need a new camera! Maybe if I complain and fuss enough about it I can convince hubby to get us a new one??
So for a while I'll be doing the stay at home mom ordeal but I have to say it does get boring a lot and makes me feel pretty unproductive. Any tips to help me not feel like a lazy bum all the time? I know I know..I'm doing the greatest work at home, thats what everyone always says to me and I'm like hello my baby sleeps like 15hrs a day! Theres only so much I can do at home!
My sis n law Ashley took this pic and i couldnt help but steal it from her..She's so presh!
Maeleigh's Blue Steel impression.
Its funny how babies can sleep anywhere in any position:) And she's wearing booties that her grandma Baldwin made.
Post baby bod..definetly needs some tuning but its crazy how the weight has been coming off with out me even being able to workout! One of the up sides of breastfeeding I suppose:)
So today my awesome sis n law Amy Dykens Robles ( I have 3 sisters named amy, hence the full name) came down here to Gilbert and took some very cute newborn photos. So I will be anxiously awaitng those and Im sure the maybe 2 people who look at my blog will be anxiously awaiting to see them as well! :)
Oh my gosh! I cant forget to mention that my sister Amy, who was due 2 wks after me had her baby boy on the same day as me!! How crazy is that! Same day. Same hospital. We considered sharing a hospital room but figured with all the breastfeeding going on it would probably traumitize our husbands! So I had my baby a week late and Amy had hers a week early...Mine is older and hers is chubbier! haha here's cute little Marshall and Maeleigh.

Long hot summer for me:)
Everything has gone very smoothly with this pregnancy, no problems at all! Unless constant heartburn and back pain and pinched nerves are considered problems...then yes I've had a few:) I guess I should say no problems with our little girl. Which is all that matters! So I might be being a little dramatic but I guess I've learned that being pregnant isn't as easy as everyone made it look! In all honesty it really hasn't been too bad, I'm just a complainer by nature:) I am 36 weeks now!! WooHooo! Its still kind of surreal that I'm going to be a mom in just a few weeks! Am I ready for this??? Yikes I hope so! For about the past 2 months now I haven't been working (due to bad luck mostly). So the summer has been loong and this last month of my pregnancy is probably really going to push my sanity. I would like to find some sort of stay at home job (do those even exist??) or something I could bring our little gal to. That would be ideal! But for now I'm just hanging out keeping my options open:)
As for Jordan, he's been working his buns off! He is now working with our neighbor Andrew who owns his own pest control company called Payback Pest Control. He needs to bring in his own clientele so if you got a bug problem Jordan is your man. They specialize in bed bug and termite treatments. Other than sweating buckets everyday, Jordan is so incredibly excited for our Maeleigh girl to get here! (BTW her names Maeleigh;)) You should see how googley eyed this guy gets every time she's kicking or when he plays with other babes. Its so cute to see him like that. She is going to be one lucky girl to have a dad like jor!!

Adventures this Summer
A quick trip to the Gila Valley Temple. Got to do a session and check out my old stomping grounds!
The middle couple in this pic (Jordan and Guilian) came with us to the Gila Valley Temple. This is after their sealing in the Mesa Temple. The sun was glaring right into our eyes. It was painful. But we had to get a pic! She is also pregnant with a little girl and due any day now!!! Lucky girl! And Joey and Kelsey there on the end. They just got back from China! Crazies!
We went up to Bear Canyon Lake with Ami and Tyson and camped for a night. It was so pretty and green up there and the weather was nice and cool the whole time!
We didn't catch any fish but we did catch like 50 crawdads. These ones were in love just like us;)
The biggest hit this summer was my baby shower! My awesome sis n law Melissa threw it for me. She made it so cute! Girl is crafty!! The theme was "About to Pop" so we had popcorn, cake pops, balloons, pop rocks, soda pop....things that pop!
As you can tell it was a definite success! I felt so spoiled. We are officially all set for her to get here!
Last weekend we went up to Snowflake for Pioneer Day. We got to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Brewer and some of Jordans cousins from the Brewer side and and the Baldwin side. It was fun hanging out with all of them. We went to the parade Saturday morning (of course) and hung out with his cousins all day and went to the rodeo that night. Any chance to get out of the valley heat I'll take! We had to take a pic at the Snowflake Temple!
So those are our big trips this summer. Now its the waiting game, I can't wait to finally meet our Maeleigh girl!
And I just have to show off the baby room. Its been fun picking the paint out and putting it all together. My mother n law Jill made the curtains. Aren't they LUSH!! She is one talented lady!

Life is moving along quickly so we spend most of our time trying to catch up with it. This year is only a few months along but we've had plenty of highs and lows. Things are starting to look up and we are so thrilled to be starting a family and to find out what we're having this week!!! I just love this boy right here! I have such an amazing husband and am blessed to be a part of his family and mine! I am so grateful for my family and husband. I have been so impressed at their strength and ability to face their trials with such faith! This year has been life changing already but I have more support in my life than probably anyone else I know. I am blessed.
